Introducing the Characters

ACE TRUMPS is a casino developer extraordinaire, who is helping MAYOR J.B.  develop an Indian Casino, while the Mayor’s Special Assistant  JACK AZ  is chasing ladies around City Hall and  BARI BERRY, the City Manager, tries to keep Oakland running.

Running from Jack is  LUPE GUZMAN, Administrative Assistant to NANCY TENACITY, City Council Member for the Downtown District.  Lupe is rescued from Jack by  SAM SAN MIGUEL. Meanwhile, Nancy joins forces with  BAILEY KEYES, owner of Bailey’s Books, ALLEGRA MODERATO, Director of Quercus Chorus, and PENELOPE QUIGENBOTHEM, preservationist, to save Oakland’s FOX Theatre from becoming a casino. 

Throughout the show, a trio of  CITIZENS comments, capers, and copes.
